IMPACT DE LA FORMATION CONTINUE DES ENSEIGNANTS DES CLASSES DE PREMIÈRES ANNÉES SECONDAIRES DE LA VILLE DE BUKAVU SUR L'ENSEIGNEMENT DE LA STRUCTURE INTERNE ET DE LA MAINTENANCE DES ORDINATEURS

Abstract : The study's aim was to establish the actual situation of the learned lessons on the internal structure and maintenance of computers in the first year of secondary school and to identify the training needs of users. From the expressed needs of training in this matter; a continuing training was organised for those teachers. In the way to find the impact of this continuing training on teachers, two groups were created (experimental and control). he main question was: Does the in-service training of teachers in the first years of secondary school in the city of Bukavu have an impact on the teaching of the internal structure and maintenance of computers? From this main question, the following hypotheses were announced: - Teaching the internal structure and maintenance of computers in the first year secondary classes of the city of Bukavu would encounter didactic difficulties; - In-service training for teachers in the first years of secondary school in the city of Bukavu would have a significant impact on the teaching of the internal structure and maintenance of computers. Data collection was made possible through the use of the focus group, a survey supported by questionnaire, interview and document analysis technics. Our research had a population of 100 teachers and 1500 students. After data analysis, it was found that there has been a considerable positive impact correlated to the training organised for teachers in this field and the improvement of learners' performance. The study suggested 3 types of modules: training module, repository module and skills repository for teaching internal structure and computer maintenance.
