Effet de la densité de semences de riz sur le développement des plants et le rendement

Abstract : Grain specific gravity is an important aspect of rice seed quality. One experiment was conducted in FOFIFA Kianjasoa to determine the effect of grain specific gravity on seedling quality and yield. The variety 2509 was used during this experiment. Four specific gravities were used: 1.00, 1.06, 1.09 and 1.12. The experiment proved that grain specific gravity has an effect on seedling quality and the growth. The experiments results show also that seed specific gravity has an influence especially on the vegetative phase. Seeds having specific gravity in the range [1.06-1.12] are advantageous and give a best yield.
