Synecdoque et langage des œuvres d'art

Abstract : The goal of this article is to break with muddle between synecdoche and metonymy in showing that synecdoche is a figure of all for the part or the part for the all among a totality inalienable. On the contrary, the metonymy is organized between adjoining elements within a conventional whole. The illustration object is a poem of Jean-Paul TOULET.
