Innovation de la musique rap sur la jeunesse de la RD Congo : Du nouveau style à une nouvelle culture

Abstract : Music softens morals, makes man relax and makes him forget about problems or troubles he faces in his everyday life. Therefore, no one can willingly ignore that music is one of the means or a communication form that has indisputable power on the receiver. Its effects on the human behavior are more powerful when the message in the song is supported by film illustrations (clips). The latter take people to the imaginary that sometimes becomes a dream that can also become a behavior due to the captured messages. In fact it is the phenomenon that is observed in the Congolese society since the integration of HIP HOP culture imported from the United States of America through rap music clips. The rappers' attitude is not often in relation with ethical values and local ethics. Most of them want to identify themselves through initiation and conformism to their idols. Here it consists of having the understanding and knowledge of the role that rap music is playing in the life of the Congolese youth, apart from the traditional role of music in the society.
